Learning The Wall is a process. The prerequisite for becoming a Wall player is that you must have been playing tennis for at least two years. During your early years of doubles, you would have played the One Up One Back system. If you have not been playing tennis for at least 2 years, then you can go to Section IX of this book: The One-Up, One-Back System.
When starting The Wall system, it will take one or more years of playing The Wall system for concepts to be fully understood. It will take three years for you to become a “good” Wall player and it will take five yars of playing The Wall system to become a championship level Wall player.
